An athletic director from a Valley school district is in the hospital after a motorcycle accident Saturday morning. Don Ferren, from Lisbon Exempted Village Schools, was on his way to a junior varsity football game around 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning. While driving west bound down on Route 14 in Green Township, he was struck by a Chevy Tahoe traveling southbound on Washingtonville Road.

Police say the driver of the Tahoe failed to yield. Ferren was taken by helicopter to St. Elizabeth Hospital where he is listed in serious condition.
