A motorcyclist was killed when he crashed on the exit ramp

34-year-old Wayne Vincent Shelton was driving a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle south when he attempted to exit.

Shelton was unable to negotiate the turn, lost control; was thrown from the bike and crashed into a ditch.

When authorities arrived, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Highway Patrol is investigating the fatal accident.
