A recent Fremont-area motorcycle crash left one person dead and another seriously injured.

Brian and Carrie Everett were riding their motorcycle when Brian, the driver, lost control. Both passengers on the bike were ejected.

Brian landed in the middle of the road and was killed when he was struck by a passing pickup truck.

Carrie was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident. Neither passenger on the motorcycle was wearing a helmet.
