The rider was driving a 2003 Honda XR650L and was traveling southbound near 19857 Anderson Rd. when it struck a dog that had run into the road. The driver of the motorcycle was wearing a safety helmet and was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to the local hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
