While it’s possible that some of ATV accidents and rollovers are a result of young, inexperienced drivers, the industry manufacturers are largely to blame for their lack of attention to installing necessary safety features that would eliminate or at least decrease the injuries suffered from the ATV injury accidents.

Yamaha produces the “Rhino,” which is currently one of the most dangerous ATV’s on the market. There are no doors on this vehicle and the despite the accidents, the manufacturer refuses to put doors on them.

Apparently their view is that avoiding the extra cost to add doors to these vehicles is more important than preventing injuries and or death. Until the industry is forced to change their ways, they will continue to disregard safety precautions in order to make a profit.
